How long have you been working out at Bodyshop Athletics X? Almost 3 years

What is your favorite food? Burgers

What is your favorite exercise? Snatches

Did you have any goals? How have you accomplished them? When I started weightlifting, I definitely didn’t think I would be where I am today. As the first year went by and I started to get stronger and have better form, my goal was definitely to go to Youth Nationals. I was very happy to actually qualify and participated in The Youth National Championship in 2016. The fact that I placed in the top 5 was a huge achievement. And now this year, I had hoped to set a new American record, however, it did not happen. To get where I am today and achieve some of my goals, I had to and still have to work and try my best at practices and competitions.

Why is working out important to you? What keeps you motivated to pursue health? Working out is important to me because it keeps me healthy and it is fun to do. The fact that I have friends (my weightlifting family) at the gym definitely makes going to the gym a lot more fun. This is partly what motivates me to go to the gym. But the bigger motivation is that weightlifting is so much fun. When I get to the gym, I CANT wait to start lifting.

What is one of your favorite or most memorable moments so far at Bodyshop Athletics X? I don’t know what my favorite or most memorable moment at Bodyshop has been. I mean gosh, there have been so many. One of them is definitely a singlet saturday when I snatched 60kg. That was a big moment for me. I have been trying to hit 60 for months, and it is a unofficial American record.

How would you describe your experience at Bodyshop Athletics X to a friend? I would describe my experience at BodyshopX to a friend as fun, but hard. All of the trainer have pushed me to do my best and to use everything every bit of my energy to get through the workout. The trainers and the people who train there are all nice, fun people. I always have had a ton of fun at every training session.

Is there anything you would like to mention? Nope.
